Project: Legacy effects of DDT on Cladoceran assemblages from north-central New Brunswick lakes
Supervisor: Dr. Josh Kurek
Highlight: Working for Dr. Kurek as a bio-monitoring assistant after my second year. I sampled dozens of lakes across the New Brunswick landscape. Other highlights included the numerous opportunities I had to present my honours research at conferences in Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick.
Since MtA:
- Summer 2017: sampled lakes throughout Ontario and Quebec with the NSERC Lake Pulse Network
- September 2017: started a master’s degree in biology at McGill University with Dr. Irene Gregory-Eaves. I am studying cyanobacteria distribution and dynamics across Canadian lakes with the Lake Pulse Network.
