Mount Allison’s Department of Physics promotes a very personal experience for students.

Small, intense classes, coupled with varied research opportunities, creates a challenging but caring environment where genuine interaction between students and faculty is paramount. Our graduates leave our program with the skills, aptitude, and confidence to pursue further studies or related careers.

A key feature of the Physics department is the experiential learning approach used in many courses. Students learn through collaborative, hands-on activities, and find this an effective and exciting method for grasping the concepts of each course.

You will find lots of useful information as you peruse this website. If, however, you need additional information about our programs, faculty, resources, etc. please feel free to contact us.
