Class of ’65 Millennium Scholarship application

The Class of 1965 seeks to support students in financial need who were not granted entrance scholarships, however, have made significant academic improvements or extracurricular impacts within the MtA community. 

Value: variable ($2,500 average)

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be returning student to Mount Allison

  • Must show evidence of financial need

  • Did not qualify for entrance scholarships

  • Must meet a minimum of one of the following criteria:

    • Achieved high academic standing in first year OR

    • Demonstrated significant improvement in a returning year by attaining a top 5 per cent GPA OR

    • Has demonstrated strong capabilities in the MtA community in one of the following areas: athletics, student administration, student organizations/societies, arts and cultural activities or volunteer work


Before you begin to fill in this form, make sure you have: 

  • student ID
  • overview of academic improvement
  • overview of MtA community involvement in one area
  • overview of financial barriers, if applicable
  • total value of loans and/or lines of credit, if applicable
  • overview of payment in arrears, if applicable
