BMO donates $250,000 for new entrance scholarship at Mount Allison University
SACKVILLE, NB — BMO is donating $250,000 to Mount Allison University to establish the BMO Excellence Scholarship. The entrance scholarship will be available to students from Atlantic Canada and is valued at $40,000 over four years.
“The University is deeply appreciative of BMO’s commitment,” says Dr. Robert MacKinnon (‘78), Mount Allison’s Interim President and Vice-Chancellor. “The impact of these types of scholarships is tremendous, making university financially possible and recognizing a student’s hard work. The BMO Excellence Scholarship is vital in this effort.”
The BMO Excellence Scholarship is a continuation of the bank’s ongoing support of Mount Allison University students. BMO scholarships have been providing students with vital financial aid for more than a decade.
