Position description

The Department of Psychology at Mount Allison University invites applications for a stipendiary position. The successful candidate will be required to teach a third-year psychology course in the Winter term, 2025. ¹û¶³´«Ã½Ò•îl looking for someone to teach either a course in Interpersonal Relations (Psyc 3301) or a course in their area of specialization (Psyc 3991) and preference will be given for courses in the area of applied social cognition. The course will run from January 6, 2025 until April 30, 2025, with an expected enrollment of 60 students. The class consists of 3 class hours per week and is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11:30-12:50. Although the course is scheduled in person on the Sackville (NB) campus, the possibility of delivering the course in a hybrid format (in-person and online) or synchronously online (fully online on the days/times) may be considered. Candidates ought to have completed, or be in the process of completing, a Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field and preferably will have previous teaching experience. The anticipated start date for the position is January 2025, subject to budgetary approval.
